For instance, an electricity provider will handle outage reports 24/7 and dispatch emergency repair technicians 24/7, in addition to monitoring electrical infrastructure and producing electricity at all times. Similarly, utilities generally must provide multiple 24/7 services. Industrial and manufacturing facilities-especially those that operate near or at capacity, or which depend upon processes (such as production lines) that are costly to suspend-often provide 24/7 services. ![]() Some public transportation services, including two lines of the SEPTA system, some lines of the London Underground, the Barcelona Metro, and the Istanbul Metro, only offer 24-hour service on Friday and Saturday nights. The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) defines the term as "twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week constantly". Synonyms include around-the-clock service (with/without hyphens) and all day every day, especially in British English, and nonstop service, but the latter can also refer to other things, such as public transport services which go between two stations without stopping. ![]() Less commonly used, 24/7/52 (adding "52 weeks") and 24/7/365 service (adding "365 days") make it clear that service is available every day of the year. In commerce and industry, 24/7 or 24-7 service (usually pronounced "twenty-four seven") is service that is available at any time and usually, every day. ![]() I would say I’m somewhere between amateur and pro (closer to amateur, it’s more than a hobby but it’s not how I make my primary income) without getting into a lot of backstory and specifics. I’ve been told that Omnisphere would be right up my alley and is an industry standard. My passion is more for songwriting/composition vs sound design. I’m ready for a new toy (the GAS is getting the best of me again lol) and I’m feeling like it might be time to pull the trigger on Omnisphere. And lastly, what is the best (cheapest) way to purchase Omnisphere? The MSRP is $500, but some outlets seem to sell it at around $470 (although is this a boxed version?) Does it ever go on sale? And no, I don’t NEED anything else, but I sure do want a new toy. I guess what I’m asking is, will Omnisphere bring anything new/fun/useful/exciting to the table for me? Is it dated in 2023 (the UI certainly looks it)? Should I wait for Omnisphere 3.0? Is it more of a synth (synthetic sounds) or more of a sampler (organic/acoustic instruments) or somewhere in-between? Some folks have suggested Arturia Collection 9 or Analog Lab V as a better alternative (and to be fair I thing Pigments is great despite not being into sound design). I actually do not have a full version of Kontakt mainly because I find it annoying, there seems to be frequent bugs/crashes with the player version, and I hate having to open Kontakt in Logic and then open another library within it vs just loading one plugin (however I’ll probably begrudgingly purchase Kontakt/Komplete Standard by the end of the year). I have Serum, Diva, Pigments, some Cherry Audio synths, EZ Drummer 3, EZ Bass, all the stock Logic stuff, and all of my guitars/amps/modelers/pedals/sims as well as some orchestral libraries (BBCSO, AR2 and HOOPUS plus a few smaller ones such as some Spitfire Originals). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Death Road to Canada for PC – Technical Specifications Nameĭeath Road to Canada is on the top of the list of Adventure category apps on Google Playstore.
